About the Role

SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering is seeking an Architectural / ID Inspector to join their team. This full-time role requires an experienced professional with 5-10 years of experience, focusing on site operations, quality control, and the implementation of interior design concepts.

Role Overview

The Architectural / ID Inspector will be integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically compelling interior environments across various projects. This involves close coordination with contractors and maintaining design intent throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of interior design concepts from schematic design through to construction documentation and site implementation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction phase.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve on-site design issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior elements.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in architectural or interior design inspection.
• Must have supervision consultancy experience in KSA.
• Proven experience in site operations, including coordination with contractors and quality control.
• Strong design background with the ability to implement interior design concepts on-site.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with international design consultancies or in PMC environments.
