Bartender at FAENA The Red Sea

Accor is expanding its presence into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with FAENA The Red Sea, a new venture rooted in art, culture, and community. We are seeking a dedicated Bartender to join our team, contributing to an environment that celebrates authentic hospitality and transformative experiences. This full-time role involves preparing and serving a range of beverages while ensuring a refined and engaging guest experience.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving cocktails, wines, and premium spirits, upholding high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong mixology skills, comprehensive product knowledge, and the ability to create personalized and memorable interactions for guests. The role is integral to shaping a world of beauty, wonder, and connection within FAENA The Red Sea.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service timing.
• Develop signature cocktails and provide tailored beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Deliver engaging and knowledgeable service throughout all guest interactions.
• Efficiently set up and close the bar at the beginning and end of each shift, including preparing garnishes, juices, syrups, and ice.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Polish and rotate glassware, and inspect bar tools and equipment for proper functionality.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and supporting accurate stock counts.
• Engage guests with strong product knowledge, offering informed recommendations and promoting premium options.
• Observe guest needs, respond proactively to maintain service flow, and handle feedback professionally.
• Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations and assist team members during peak periods.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members on bar procedures and standards.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
• Follow safety protocols, including spill management, glass handling, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, seasonal offerings, and food pairings.
• Contribute ideas for cocktail innovation and seasonal menu development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-volume or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Understanding of bar operations, stock control, and service procedures.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling processes.
• Certification in food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service (as required by local regulations).
• Training in hospitality or mixology is considered an advantage.
