Care Technician

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Care Technician to join their team. This full-time role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities. The position requires a professional approach to guest interaction and adherence to company standards for safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for proper function.
• Transport equipment such as tools and radios as needed.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
• Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the St. Regis team, where collaboration and adherence to established operational and safety protocols are essential. The role involves physical activity and direct interaction with guests and colleagues.
