Role Overview: Cell Therapy Account Manager

The Cell Therapy Account Manager (CTAM) is a full-time, field-based position responsible for managing relationships with Kite’s Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) in Saudi Arabia. This role serves as the primary point of contact for ATCs, focusing on driving appropriate utilization of Kite’s CAR T therapies and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The CTAM will cultivate strong relationships with account stakeholders, coordinate Kite’s activities within ATCs, develop strategic account plans, and communicate the value of CAR T therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Kite’s relationship with assigned ATCs, including building and managing account profiles.
  • Establish significant business relationships with senior account leadership, Thought Leaders (TLs), and other key decision-makers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ATCs, collaborating with Kite colleagues to ensure a streamlined interface.
  • Identify account stakeholder needs and work with cross-functional Kite teams (*, Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Quality) to develop solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day operations within accounts, including coordinating operational activities (site qualification, setup, patient treatment) and compliance-related tasks (periodic audits).
  • Provide clinical instruction to staff on topics such as AE Management Guide and Product Insert (PI), and oversee activities in patient treatment areas to ensure Chain of Identity (COI) protocols are followed.
  • Drive appropriate utilization of Kite’s therapies within accounts by assessing performance and executing strategic account plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Medical Affairs to educate ATC stakeholders on therapy use and communicate approved messaging and clinical data.
  • Maintain clinical expertise in Hematology, Immunology, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.
  • Support Kite strategic activities in Saudi Arabia, providing feedback and insights from HCP interactions to Medical Affairs.
  • Participate in professional meetings, staff exhibits, report on scientific sessions, and facilitate meetings with TLs.
  • Provide timely feedback to Kite management regarding account business trends, therapeutic landscape changes, industry issues, and business opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships and engage in grassroots advocacy activities within the territory, aligning with regional and national initiatives.
  • Operate in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Kite policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience, with a demonstrated record of successful account management in large accounts (direct or indirect line leadership experience) and strong brand differentiation skills.
  • Deep clinical expertise in hematology/oncology disease and understanding of the treatment landscape (3-5 years of experience).
  • Strong clinical understanding of cell therapy and the ability to manage complex treatment logistics.
  • Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Kite policies.
  • Country/region specific exam/licensure requirements may apply.
  • Requires at least 30-40% travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree.
  • Demonstrated record of successful Oncology Account Management within an academic setting.
