About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Coord-Human Resources to manage essential administrative functions within the Human Resources department. This full-time position involves maintaining organized systems, preparing communications, and supporting HR operations. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive filing systems for HR records.
  • Prepare and type office correspondence using computer applications.
  • Manage the distribution and routing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms.
  • Answer phone calls and accurately record messages.
  • Create new employee personnel files and ensure their proper setup.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and inquiries.
  • Maintain the designated application area, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible.
  • Respond to employee and management questions regarding company and HR policies and guidelines.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division or property.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9s.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Human Resources department at Le Meridien, where maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct are paramount.
