About the Role

ASMO is seeking a Cybersecurity Operation Center Analyst to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of ASMO's Cybersecurity systems and applications. The analyst will work to prevent cybersecurity incidents, remediate them promptly if they occur, and identify related threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Key Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to maintain the integrity of ASMO's cybersecurity posture. This involves preventing incidents, responding effectively to security events, and proactively identifying and mitigating threats. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to implement appropriate cybersecurity controls across the organization's technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and validate cybersecurity incidents.
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement containment measures.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ASMO's technical environment, including cloud infrastructures, networks, solutions, and applications.
  • Report on incidents and security posture to the SOC Manager and ASMO management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and integration of SIEM tools with existing infrastructure and systems, addressing any integration issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and test the Incident Response (IR) plan.
  • Review and ensure complete visibility of the ASMO environment, taking action to address identified gaps.
  • Utilize threat intelligence reports to enhance security and incident response capabilities.
  • Analyze trends and emerging threats from intelligence data to identify proactive protection measures.
  • Participate in regular review meetings with the SOC provider to assess service effectiveness.
  • Handle ongoing Cybersecurity operational activities and objectives.
  • Ensure ASMO’s data, systems, and networks are protected by appropriate Cybersecurity controls and provide security-related support to users.
  • Oversee and manage outsourced Cybersecurity services, including SLAs, OLAs, and related third-party suppliers/vendors/contractors.
  • Interact with consultants to ensure Cybersecurity projects are completed on time, within budget, and to desired quality.
  • Resolve Cybersecurity problems, determine root causes, and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare and provide regular Cybersecurity Reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, Ad Hoc) for the CISO and Management.
  • Apply security policies to meet system security objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the SOC Manager or the CISO.

Experience Required

  • Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, contributing to ASMO's internal cybersecurity operations. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, external providers, and consultants to maintain a robust security posture.
