About the Role

Solenis is seeking a Dairy Sector Specialist for a full-time position. This role involves managing an assigned account or group of accounts, with a primary focus on delivering value to customers through technical service and identifying new product opportunities within existing customer bases. The specialist is responsible for maintaining revenue, ensuring price capture, and improving gross profit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure value creation through technical service.
• Identify and pursue new product opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Maintain revenue and ensure effective price capture for assigned accounts.
• Work towards improving gross profit margins.
• Engage in new business acquisition efforts as appropriate, though this is not the primary focus.

Job Complexity and Scope

The Dairy Sector Specialist independently handles non-routine and moderately complex assignments. This includes researching assignments, processing and analyzing data, and developing recommendations. The role requires competent use of computers and other systems for data access, maintenance, and manipulation. There may be opportunities to provide leadership and direction to junior employees. In technical aspects, the specialist may determine methods, operations, and sequences, and develop or modify products and equipment to meet specific requirements.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Considerable knowledge of the job's technical phases and general aspects.
• Complete acquaintance with and understanding of practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
