Digital Programme Manager

About the Role

NES Global Talent is seeking an experienced Digital Programme Manager for a contract position. This role involves leading the strategy, governance, and execution of large-scale digital transformation initiatives within a complex industrial environment. The Digital Programme Manager will drive the deployment of integrated information systems and digital solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence goals.

This position requires a strong combination of digital leadership, programme management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and industrial domain knowledge to deliver high-value transformation programs in a multicultural and multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Information Systems (IS) and Digital Transformation roadmap aligned with business strategy and operational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve operational performance, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Drive the adoption of digital capabilities across manufacturing, engineering, HSSE, finance, supply chain, and corporate functions.
• Lead large-scale digital transformation programs from strategy through delivery and benefits realization.
• Establish robust governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams within a complex program environment.
• Ensure timely delivery of program milestones while maintaining quality, budget, and business value targets.
• Oversee deployment and integration of enterprise information systems, ERP solutions, and digital platforms.
• Drive implementation of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, Digital Twins, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Mobility Solutions, and Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics.
• Ensure interoperability between operational and corporate systems.
• Coordinate and align local business teams, corporate functions, technology partners, and external vendors.
• Facilitate collaboration across Information Systems, Digital, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business functions.
• Build strong relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive engagement and program success.
• Manage significant transformation budgets and ensure effective financial governance.
• Oversee vendor management, procurement activities, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor program financial performance and optimize investment returns.
• Lead organizational change initiatives required to embed new technologies and ways of working.
• Support user adoption through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation.

Program Scope

• Transformation portfolio valued at USD $50M+.
• Engagement with 100+ stakeholders.
• Coverage across Finance, Manufacturing, HSSE, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Corporate Functions.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams across business and technology domains.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in digital programme management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience in complex industrial environments.
• Strong background in integrated information systems and digital solutions.
