About Four Seasons Hotels and AMAALA

Four Seasons Hotels (KSA) is a global luxury hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for guests, residents, and partners. This role is based at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast. This resort features 220 keys, including rooms, suites, and villas with private pools, alongside 26 branded residential villas, all offering bay and sea views. Amenities include a luxury spa with a sculptured waterfall and an Organic Spa Garden, plus a bespoke fitness collaboration with Harley Pasternak, integrating high-performance training with the natural landscape for activities like canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails, complemented by a 27-hole oceanfront golf course.

The Role of Director of Food & Beverage

The Director of Food & Beverage is a full-time position responsible for leading all food and beverage operations across the Four Seasons Resort & Residences AMAALA. This includes restaurants, bars, lounges, in-room dining, banquets, and special events. The role focuses on driving exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial performance, while ensuring team engagement and upholding Four Seasons' luxury service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations throughout the resort, ensuring high guest satisfaction and service quality.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental revenue, profitability, and operational goals.
Manage and mentor Food & Beverage leaders and teams, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Ensure consistent compliance with Four Seasons standards, health and safety regulations, and local legislation.
Collaborate with Culinary, Rooms, Sales, Marketing, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Analyze financial performance, monitor budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Drive innovation in dining concepts, guest programming, menus, and service offerings.
Oversee hiring, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives within the division.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and efficient operations.
Champion luxury hospitality standards and create memorable experiences that enhance the reputation of the resort.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution; a degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Director of Food & Beverage role within a luxury hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing large and diverse Food & Beverage operations and teams.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and guest service skills, coupled with a passion for luxury hospitality.

Work Schedule and Authorization

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and other business-required hours to support resort operations. Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia at the time of application or be eligible to obtain the required work authorization sponsored by Four Seasons Hotels (KSA). Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background verification, reference checks, and any applicable pre-employment requirements.
