EDITION Hotels, a brand within Marriott International, offers a distinctive hospitality experience that combines luxury service with a unique personality. We are seeking a Guest Service Supervisor - Saudi National to join our team. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and is integral to ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Position Summary

The Guest Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest check-in processes, managing accounts, and ensuring accurate payment and billing procedures. This role involves direct guest interaction, problem resolution, and maintaining operational efficiency at the front desk. The supervisor also plays a key role in supporting management with team development and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Process guest check-ins, verify identity, confirm payment methods, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
Set up accurate guest accounts according to individual requirements and enter Marriott Rewards information.
Ensure rates align with market codes, documenting any exceptions, and secure payment before issuing room keys.
Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists; complete cashier and closing reports.
Provide guests with directions and property information, accommodating requests and ensuring follow-up.
Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance and drop receipts.
Count and secure the bank at the beginning and end of each shift, obtaining manual authorizations as needed.
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
Serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including reporting accidents and unsafe conditions.
Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
Communicate using clear and professional language, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones professionally.
Enter and locate information using computer and POS systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

2-5 years of experience in a related role.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional personal appearance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Completion of required safety training and certifications.
