Role Summary

The Head Bartender at EDITION is responsible for creating a memorable guest experience through beverage service. This role involves delivering a range of services to ensure guest satisfaction, extending beyond basic service to contribute to a unique dining and social atmosphere. The Head Bartender works full-time and is expected to uphold company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining bar areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate service.
• Interacting with guests to take orders, serve beverages, and address inquiries.
• Ensuring all transactions contribute positively to the guest experience.
• Cleaning work areas, equipment, and supplies regularly.
• Upholding quality standards for all beverages and service delivery.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and communication style.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Navigating sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Reading and visually verifying information, including menus.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 0-1 years in a relevant role.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver guest service.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
• Professionalism in uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
