This full-time role for an IT Strategy Analyst is integral to developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives that support ASMO's growth and operational excellence.

The Role of an IT Strategy Analyst

Reporting to the IT Strategy & Innovation Lead, the IT Strategy Analyst contributes to the strategic direction of information technology within ASMO. This position focuses on aligning IT strategies with the broader objectives of the IT Strategy & Governance department, ensuring that technology investments and initiatives deliver measurable value across the department and ASMO as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of rules, procedures, principles, and practices within the IT Strategy discipline.
• Selectively extract, verify, and compile objective and measurable data.
• Determine courses of action based on established principles and modify existing processes and methods where applicable.
• Collaborate with the IT Strategy & Innovation Manager to contribute to the development and execution of ASMO’s IT strategy.
• Support the alignment of IT initiatives with the overall strategy, goals, and objectives of the IT Strategy & Governance department.
• Maintain a technology roadmap that outlines ASMO’s future technology direction under the guidance of the IT Strategy & Innovation Lead.
• Identify emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
• Conduct research, perform cost-benefit analyses, and assess the feasibility and impact of new technologies on ASMO’s business operations and competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT strategy, analysis, or a related field. A strong understanding of IT strategy principles and the ability to conduct thorough research and analytical tasks are essential for success in this position.

Collaboration and Reporting Structure

The IT Strategy Analyst will work closely with the IT Strategy & Innovation Lead and Manager, fostering a collaborative environment to drive strategic IT initiatives. This role requires strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and communication within the department and across ASMO.
