Manager Data Governance Division

About the Role

The NCGR - National Center for Government Resources Sys. in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Manager Data Governance Division. This full-time role involves overseeing the development and implementation of data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with the center's overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the data governance strategy in line with the center's strategic initiatives and related departmental projects.
• Oversee the development of data governance policies, procedures, and plans, including establishing and monitoring associated controls and standards, and ensuring their adoption by stakeholders.
• Supervise the development of the center's data catalog and the classification of data within it, based on the data classification policy by relevant data stakeholders.
• Develop training plans and awareness programs related to data management and governance domains and controls.
• Develop and implement data management and governance strategies, programs, and projects related to various data governance areas.
• Oversee compliance monitoring for data management and governance policies and procedures, assessing the application of data management specifications according to approved legislation, policies, and standards, and preparing necessary reports.
• Supervise the preparation of compliance reports required for data governance policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Plan for data quality, and oversee the establishment of data quality rules and data quality assessment.
• Supervise and follow up on data quality issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Perform any additional job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Management, or an equivalent field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or The GIAC Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA) are preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the same or related fields.
