About the Role

GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Mechanical / Piping Engineer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the design, review, and supervision of mechanical and piping systems for industrial projects. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Mechanical / Piping Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of mechanical and piping systems within industrial projects. This includes initial design, thorough review processes, and on-site supervision to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards. The position is suitable for professionals with experience in EPC, oil & gas, power plant, refinery, and construction engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise mechanical and piping systems for industrial projects.
• Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material take-offs (MTO).
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams during project execution.
• Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning comply with project specifications and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM).
• Conduct site inspections, quality control, and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and maintain safety (HSE) compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering roles.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial projects, including EPC, oil & gas, power plant, refinery, or construction engineering.
• Proficiency in preparing technical drawings and documentation such as piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and MTOs.
• Strong understanding of relevant international standards including ASME, API, and ASTM.
