Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Nestlé Waters KSA – Almanhal Water Factory is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team in Medina. This full-time role involves conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for PET Line machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the factory. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) for the PET Line and conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving techniques such as BDA / GSTD.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine assembly methods for parts, machines, or equipment.
• Respond promptly to service requests and efficiently repair mechanical systems to maintain operational continuity.
• Trace, diagnose, and rectify faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment, ensuring safety and serviceable condition.
• Act quickly during breakdowns, assessing problems and advising management on corrective actions and business continuity.
• Execute routine mechanical maintenance and repair work, including the installation and replacement of hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Manage preventive maintenance activities and troubleshooting for pumps, compressors, and chillers.
• Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
• Operate, test, and maintain the PET Line.
• Replace critical spare parts on the production line.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (*, BDA / GSTD).
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting SIDEL Blow molding and Krones Blow molding machines.
• Knowledge of shaft and motor alignment procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the Nestlé Waters KSA – Almanhal Water Factory in Al Madinah. The role involves working directly with production machinery and requires a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
