About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Multi Property Assistant Chief Accountant to join their team. This full-time position involves ensuring the accuracy of financial data and maintaining robust financial records across multiple properties. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
Follow up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.

Team Collaboration and Professional Conduct

Coordinate tasks and work effectively with other departments.
Serve as a departmental role model or mentor, assigning and ensuring work tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately to a manager/supervisor.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
