About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Pool Technician to join their team. This full-time position involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of pool-related equipment. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field and focuses on maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for proper function and potential issues.
• Carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes.

Safety and Security Compliance

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines.

Guest Service and Professional Conduct

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Team Collaboration and Physical Requirements

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team to achieve common goals and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders as required.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Additional Duties

The Pool Technician will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors to support the overall operational needs of the facility.
