The Role: Pool Technician

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Pool Technician to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of pool-related equipment. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for proper function and safety.
• Carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete safety training and certifications and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team to achieve common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the role.
• Understanding of safety and security procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in the Red Sea region. The role involves working within a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency in a luxury hotel environment.
