Pool Technician

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Pool Technician to join their team. This full-time role involves responding to and resolving guest repair requests related to pool facilities, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the operational efficiency of equipment. The position requires 2-5 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for operational integrity.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift changes.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the St. Regis team, where the Pool Technician will perform duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to a professional and service-oriented environment.
