Project Management Officer

About the Role

NextEra is seeking an experienced Project Management Officer to support project governance, planning, reporting, financial tracking, resource management, and stakeholder coordination across multiple projects and programs. This full-time position is based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

The Project Management Officer will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with organizational objectives, governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent reporting capabilities, and hands-on experience in PMO operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance processes and project lifecycle management.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and executive-level project status reports.
• Consolidate project dashboards and portfolio management reports.
• Track project health metrics and identify deviations from approved plans.
• Coordinate project activities across business and technical teams.
• Maintain project schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, and meeting minutes.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and project forums.
• Support Project Managers throughout project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, vendor payments, and overall project financials.
• Assist with cost analysis, forecasting, and budget variance reporting.
• Support contract management, Statements of Work (SOWs), and change request processes.
• Coordinate resource onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain resource allocation, utilization, and capacity planning reports.
• Collaborate with staffing teams to fulfill project resource requirements.
• Support workforce planning and resource forecasting activities.
• Maintain project risk and issue registers and track mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, governance frameworks, and organizational processes.
• Manage project documentation repositories and audit readiness requirements.
• Support quality reviews and project governance assessments.
• Liaise with project managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and escalations effectively.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a PMO Specialist or PMO Analyst.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills and reporting capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in PMO operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within NextEra, located in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working across multiple projects and programs, requiring coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
