Faena The Red Sea is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and timely delivery for the company's operations.

Role Overview

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities. This includes managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with various internal departments to maintain efficient inventory levels, control costs, and ensure a consistent supply chain. The role focuses on strategic purchasing to support operational needs and achieve cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with operational needs and cost efficiency goals.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, price, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
• Issue and manage purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets and requirements.
• Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with departments including finance, stores, and operations to identify purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for savings.
• Review and approve purchase requests and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing and supplier options.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all purchased items.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.

Required Experience
