Role Overview: Purchasing Manager (Saudi National Only)

The Purchasing Manager will oversee the procurement of goods and services for FAENA The Red Sea, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and timely acquisition. This full-time role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with various internal departments to maintain efficient inventory levels, control costs, and ensure a smooth operational supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support operational needs and cost efficiency.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability criteria.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
• Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with approved budgets and requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with departments such as finance, stores, and operations to identify purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for savings.
• Review and approve purchase requests and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing and supplier options.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all purchased items.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.
• Prepare purchasing reports and performance analysis for management.
• Ensure ethical and transparent procurement practices at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and control costs effectively.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and market dynamics.
