About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Officer to join our team in Hawtat Sudair. This full-time position is central to upholding our commitment to quality across all products and processes. The Officer will be responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of quality control activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor all quality control activities, providing support to the QC Technician.
• Support the testing and approval processes for finished goods (FGs), raw materials (RMs), and packaging materials (PMs).
• Develop, modify, and submit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for approval when necessary.
• Test, supervise (where required), and arrange SASO samples in accordance with specified monthly reports.

Quality Assurance and Testing Operations

• Conduct comprehensive testing and follow-up for product stability, returned finished goods, colors, catalogues, colorants, finished goods, raw materials, packing, and samples analysis for all company departments.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and follow-up of laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are always in good working condition.
• Finalize daily test reports for final products, authorize batch tickets, report results immediately to production, and support troubleshooting for quality-related issues.
• Prioritize product testing within the quality control laboratory based on urgency.
• Select standard samples based on batch numbers to ensure no change or modification, and match test results to required specifications.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

• Follow up on customer and supplier complaints through verification, testing, and reporting.
• Coordinate and support audits conducted at the site, whether from internal or external parties.
• Continuously support and participate in cost reduction activities, including efficient use of electricity, water, improvised materials, leftover samples, and leftover packing.
• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.

Laboratory Standards and Documentation

• Comply with all rules and safety instructions for working within laboratories.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the workplace, devices, and equipment used in laboratories.
• Document all laboratory activities thoroughly and submit regular reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
