Arabian Oud, a prominent fragrance manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to upholding the company's commitment to product excellence and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Role Summary

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process products, and final products meet approved quality standards. This involves conducting comprehensive inspections and quality tests, monitoring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and proactively addressing non-conformities to maintain consistent product quality and efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor the quality of raw materials, including fragrance oils, oud, alcohol, and packaging materials, before their use in production.
• Conduct inspections and quality tests on in-process and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and approved acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities, including performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Record inspection and testing results and prepare periodic quality reports.
• Coordinate with Production and Laboratory teams to investigate and resolve quality issues while ensuring production continuity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements across all production areas.
• Monitor the calibration status of measuring and testing equipment utilized in quality control activities.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing defect rates, material waste, and production losses, thereby improving overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure the availability of required documentation and records.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related scientific/technical field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and manufacturing quality standards.
• Experience in inspecting raw materials, in-process products, finished products, and packaging materials.
• Familiarity with quality documentation, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Laboratory, and other cross-functional teams, often under tight production timelines.
