QAQC Engineer

About the Role

SRG is seeking a QAQC Engineer to join the team. This full-time role involves providing technical leadership for quality assurance and control across all service and manufacturing activities. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting audit processes and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and documentation in accordance with API, ISO, and client requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of tools, equipment, and assemblies for TRS, GYRO, DHT, and manufacturing operations.
• Supervise all stages of service maintenance, including NDT inspections, to ensure full compliance with established standards.
• Conduct dimensional verification, functional test witnessing, and visual inspections utilizing calibrated tools.
• Ensure that equipment and tools are properly tagged, labeled, and traceable at each stage, adhering to company and client standards.
• Review and verify certification packages, inspection reports, and traceability records prior to delivery or mobilization.
• Report non-conformities, participate in root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance against specified purchase and quality requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, client inspections, and maintain audit-ready documentation and records.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field. The position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance and control principles, particularly within service and manufacturing environments.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and inspection plans.
• Experience with API and ISO standards, as well as client-specific quality requirements.
• Ability to perform detailed inspections and verify compliance.
• Competence in non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections.
• Skilled in root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for non-conformities.

Collaboration and Communication

The QAQC Engineer will work closely with various internal teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to address quality concerns and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and supporting audit processes.
