About the Role

ABIS is seeking a dedicated QC Inspector to join its team. This full-time role involves ensuring the quality of construction activities across piping, civil, and mechanical disciplines, verifying compliance with established standards and specifications.

Role Summary

The QC Inspector is responsible for performing comprehensive inspection and testing procedures on various construction activities. This includes verifying adherence to drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards to maintain high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on piping, civil, and mechanical works.
• Witness hydrotests, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities, and other required tests as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Verify materials, welding, and installation against approved drawings and specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements.
• Report quality issues and trends to the QC Manager.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector.
• Demonstrated experience on piping, civil, and mechanical construction projects.
