About the Role

Consolidated Contractors Company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector specializing in Piping & Welding. This full-time position is based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards within oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections for piping installation, fabrication, welding, and related activities in accordance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, and applicable international codes.
  • Inspect piping materials, fabrication, installation, welding, and testing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
  • Conduct visual inspections and witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, welding, and other required tests.
  • Review drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, welding procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME **, ASME **, ASME **, ASME Section V & IX, API 620, API 650, and AWS **
  • Conduct and review welding inspection activities in accordance with applicable certification requirements.
  • Review and verify Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) programs, procedures, and inspection results.
  • Perform, review, or ensure VT, MT, PT, RT, and UT inspections as applicable, with valid certification in the relevant method(s).
  • Hold ASNT Level II certification in the relevant NDT method(s) when performing, reviewing, or ensuring NDT activities.
  • Perform or review Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTFI) when required, with valid RTFI certification.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures, standards, and project quality requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8–10 years of experience as a QC Inspector in Piping and/or Welding.
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas projects/fields.
  • For Welding Inspectors: valid AWS CWI, CSWIP , or company-approved equivalent certification.
  • For Welding Inspectors: valid ASNT Level II certification in relevant NDT method(s), where applicable.
  • Valid certification for relevant VT, MT, PT, RT, UT, and RTFI activities, where applicable.
  • Ex-Saudi Aramco approved candidates with a valid SAP Number are highly preferred; candidates should provide their SAP Number and approval copy.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards, specifications, applicable codes, and quality requirements.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position within a project setting in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, focusing on critical infrastructure within the oil and gas sector.
