About the Opportunity

Ejobsboard is seeking a Safety Engineer Aviation to join Aramco's operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering a salary range of SAR 15,000 – SAR 30,000 per month. The role involves serving as a frontline safety officer for all aviation operations across the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The Aviation Safety Engineer (HSE) will be responsible for ensuring safety across a broad spectrum of aviation activities. This includes fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, heliports, helidecks, offshore facilities, and remote airstrips throughout Saudi Arabia, focusing on implementing and maintaining robust safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Aviation Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct HSE inspections and audits of aircraft, heliports, helidecks, hangars, and airstrips.
• Perform aviation risk assessments, JSAs, PHAs, and compliance reviews.
• Investigate aviation incidents, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Support offshore and remote-area helicopter operations safety.
• Review designs of aviation facilities for GACA, ICAO, and IATA compliance.
• Develop and review Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) for aviation scenarios.
• Deliver safety training to employees and contractors.
• Mentor junior loss prevention and HSE personnel.
• Respond to aviation emergencies and provide on-site technical safety support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).
• Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of experience in oil & gas and/or aviation safety, specifically in roles such as HSE officer, loss prevention, or an equivalent position.
• Standards Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of GACA regulations, ICAO SARPs, IATA standards, and international aviation safety best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to effectively train personnel.
• Proficiency in conducting audits.
• Competence in delivering professional presentations.
