About the Role

SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to manage Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This regular position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of ELV systems, from design review and installation to testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance. The role requires ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements, while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the engineering, design review, and implementation of ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
Supervise installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all ELV systems.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.
Support project planning, cost control, and resource management activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in ELV engineering.
Demonstrated experience within large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.

This role involves working on significant building and infrastructure projects, requiring close coordination with various stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. The position demands a proactive approach to project management and technical problem-solving on site.
