Role Summary

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. The projects span sectors such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education. The primary objective is to deliver financially viable projects that meet client requirements, are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Work towards the creation and execution of business development strategies aligned with company goals.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Attend industry functions, providing feedback on market and creative trends.
• Supervise the end-to-end tendering process.
• Identify stakeholders and plan communications.
• Develop project management plans and schedules, ensuring activities are clearly defined.
• Plan procurement in line with project schedules.
• Identify and plan risk management and responses.
• Specify project objectives and plans, including scope delineation, budgeting, scheduling, performance requirements, and subcontractor selection.
• Interface with the project team to share best practices and ensure effective resource utilization.
• Implement various operations through coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction.
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress.
• Oversee construction sites and manage vendors and trades.
• Analyze and share regular updates on site operations with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain communication with clients.
• Direct and manage project execution, ensuring all works are monitored, coordinated, and controlled.
• Acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Conduct and administer procurement.
• Distribute project information to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for project operation and handover.
• Verify and control changes in scope and costs.
• Control project invoicing and final accounting.
• Monitor and control risks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in an interior fit-out contracting company.
• Strong technical, execution, and commercial abilities with sound knowledge of various trades in fit-out contracting.
• A proven track record as a successful leader in project management within fit-out contracting businesses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Academic qualification, preferably a University Degree, in a technical discipline.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award through implementation to handover.
• Very good knowledge of the KSA market, including client, sub-contractor, and supplier networks, is preferred.
• Successful track record on projects such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education.
• Good knowledge of the latest developments in the fit-out market, including current trends and news influencing the market.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

While the Havelock One Interiors KSA office is located in Riyadh, projects are undertaken across the country. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to work on challenging projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
