International Maritime Industries is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts to support all contracting efforts. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the timely acquisition of quality products at competitive prices, enabling spend owners to maximize value and maintain profitable operations.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist, Contracts is responsible for upholding the company's code of ethics, policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations. The individual will demonstrate integrity, accountability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork while managing various contracting activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain a strong sense of urgency to achieve high personal performance, making cost-efficient decisions and resource allocations.
• Support, train, counsel, and advise contracting staff, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Institute and recommend policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics to reduce overall expenses, increase productivity, and ensure compliance with all contracting-related activities.
• Monitor business trends and service availability to secure optimal pricing for services without compromising quality or delivery times.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and execute various contracts covering a range of transactions.
• Conduct the procurement process and ensure proposal evaluations adhere to procedures, leading to the selection of the best suppliers.
• Monitor contracts and facilitate their close-out, extension, or renewal.
• Maintain all correspondence and documentation related to contracts.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 9-15 years of relevant experience in contracts management or a related field. This role requires a professional who can operate effectively within a dynamic environment, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and ethical standards.
