About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer BIM Coordination to manage and maintain multidisciplinary BIM models. This full-time role focuses on ensuring accurate integration, effective collaboration, and compliance with approved BIM and Revit standards. The position involves supporting model setup, maintenance, coordination, and technical troubleshooting, while ensuring consistency across templates, families, workflows, and project information.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain Revit templates and families to support various discipline requirements.
Set up starter files with appropriate Revit content, view templates, parameters, and project standards.
Coordinate existing-condition models and links with other discipline models, and update Survey Point and Project Base Point locations within Revit.
Ensure project teams use the appropriate Revit versions and builds, and develop Dynamo scripts for model efficiency and automation.
Clear critical Revit warnings and errors, and support troubleshooting of model-related issues.
Coordinate workset setup for different disciplines and ensure Revit models are regularly audited and maintained.
Collect and manage required model links, organize and maintain the Revit Project Browser structure, and resolve coordination review issues within the model.
Remove unnecessary views, design options, CAD/Revit links, line styles, families, images, and other unused elements, and purge unused model elements when required.
Review model elements to ensure compliance with the required Level of Development (LOD) defined in the BIM Execution Plan.
Coordinate with disciplines and vendors regarding modeling, drawings, sheet setup, and area creation.
Coordinate MEP systems with other disciplines to support proper integration and resolve model coordination issues.
Review multidisciplinary model interfaces, identify coordination conflicts, and support resolution of model clashes and technical coordination issues.
Ensure coordinated models remain aligned with approved project requirements.
Ensure drawing naming, numbering, and assembly are correctly maintained, and update title blocks with the latest issuance title and date.
Maintain consistency between models, drawings, and related project documentation, and support model and drawing readiness for project submissions and coordination reviews.
Coordinate model information between Architecture, Engineering, MEP, and other relevant parties.
Support project teams with Revit-related technical guidance and model requirements, and facilitate effective BIM collaboration across disciplines.
Support adherence to approved BIM workflows, standards, and project requirements.
