Role Overview

Teledyne is seeking a Sr. Manager Industrial Participation and Localization to join a business serving defense, aerospace, and advanced technology markets across the Eastern Hemisphere. This full-time role, based in Saudi Arabia, involves shaping and executing localization and industrial participation initiatives to drive business growth and support national capability development objectives. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop senior relationships with UAE and Saudi government, defense, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with local industry, academia, and sovereign entities.
  • Create revenue-generating localization and industrial participation programs aligned with Teledyne technologies.
  • Integrate localization strategies into captures, bids, and major procurement opportunities.
  • Structure commercial models, governance frameworks, and funding approaches for complex initiatives.
  • Lead execution of programs including technology transfer, applied research, capability development, and production localization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities tied to national programs and long-term initiatives.
  • Develop local innovation, supplier, and talent ecosystems that support long-term growth.
  • Track program performance, compliance, localization metrics, and business outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with government stakeholders, sovereign entities, industry partners, and research organizations.
  • Experience in turning complex localization requirements into commercially successful partnerships.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (*, regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the * Departments of State or Commerce.
