Supervisor Security

About the Role

Ma'aden is seeking a Supervisor, Security for a full-time position in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overseeing security monitoring activities at the mine site, ensuring adherence to the Ma’aden Gold security program and supervisor instructions. The position involves implementing operational excellence activities within the job holder’s span of control, focusing on access controls, inspections, and the movement of personnel, material, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other Security Shift Controllers or Coordinators to ensure effective implementation of the integrated security plan.
• Plan and maintain the duty shift roster for security personnel to ensure continuous coverage of the facility and its premises.
• Monitor shift activities and investigate security incidents, reported incidents, complaints, or other problems during shifts.
• Ensure all security personnel are familiar with the security plan, standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, and relevant policies.
• Supervise and monitor work carried out by assigned Security Men, ensuring effective access control and surveillance.
• Oversee and participate in security patrols, surveillance, and search activities across facilities.
• Conduct random checks to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.
• Take necessary actions to control security incidents in accordance with the Security Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
• Organize and participate in personal escorts for high-risk material, VIP staff, and visitors as required.
• Supervise vehicle parking areas, regulate traffic flow, and monitor speed limits within the premises.
• Respond to security and emergency cases, investigate, and participate in emergency response procedures.
• Ensure security personnel wear company uniforms and maintain a professional appearance.
• Monitor and maintain the physical and working condition of security equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
• Train security personnel on security procedures, work orders, and emergency response procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving security measures, systems, and procedures.
• Ensure security personnel maintain records of visitors, vehicles, materials, security activities, and incidents.
• Monitor and supervise assigned security personnel performance and participate in annual performance appraisals.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in security operations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce security procedures and protocols.
• Experience in coordinating security teams and managing shift rosters.
• Proficiency in operating security systems and equipment, including alarm systems, CCTV, and communication systems.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of security plans, standard operating procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to conduct security inspections, audits, and surveys.
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to supervise and train security personnel.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at a mine site in Saudi Arabia, requiring active supervision and monitoring of security operations across the facility and its premises.
