Technical Service Manager Well Construction

About the Role

Weatherford is seeking a Technical Service Manager - Well Construction to drive sales of Well Construction technical products and services. This full-time role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, providing technical expertise, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and commercial delivery of Well Construction services, including Liner Hangers, Cementing, and Completions.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across assigned regions and customer accounts.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and client engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Applications Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers, focusing on performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and commercial guidance to support business development initiatives and contract negotiations.
• Ensure the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) compliance are embedded within all operations and activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 15+ years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of product line experience with Well Construction products such as Liner Hanger, Cementing, or Completions.
• Background in Technical Sales.
• Experience in preparing and submitting Technical Investigation reports.
• An Engineering Degree with a mechanically oriented background.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in conducting presentations.
