Verification and Validation Engineer

About the Role

Airbus Defence and Space Saudi Limited is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to contribute to the system verification and validation of a large security system. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves supporting the system during and after its deployment, including the customer acceptance process. The position reports to the Chief Engineer and the Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the verification and validation of a large security system.
• Support the system during and after its deployment.
• Manage aspects of the customer acceptance process.
• Write test procedures and detailed test reports.
• Plan work and deliverables in detail.
• Work within a customer-oriented environment and adhere to deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of systems.
• Familiarity with applicable INCOSE and international system engineering standards, or holding an ISTQB Certification.
• Strong engineering background, particularly on large integration projects.
• Experience working with a direct interface to the customer.
• Experience with a broad range of information technology systems, including networking, storage, server, virtualization, and system/network administration.
• Detailed experience in relevant Information Technology and communication solutions.
• PMP or ISTQB certification is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.

Work Environment and Travel

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Frequent travel to various locations within Saudi Arabia is required, including remote sensor sites. Occasional international travel may also be expected. This position requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity.
