About the Opportunity

Progressive is seeking experienced Wireline Field Engineers and Wireline Crew Chiefs to support onshore and offshore well evaluation projects in Saudi Arabia. These full-time roles focus on open hole logging operations, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of advanced wireline services while adhering to industry safety standards.

Wireline Field Engineer Role Overview

The Wireline Field Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising advanced wireline logging services. This role requires extensive experience in formation evaluation, pressure testing, and fluid sampling within challenging drilling and reservoir environments.

Wireline Crew Chief Role Overview

The Wireline Crew Chief will provide operational leadership in the field, overseeing open hole logging operations across complex drilling and reservoir evaluation projects. This position requires hands-on experience in open hole logging and the ability to supervise crews during critical formation evaluation activities, ensuring high standards of service quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and/or supervise open hole wireline logging operations safely and efficiently.
• Plan and conduct Quad Combo logging programs.
• Perform formation pressure testing and fluid sampling operations.
• Ensure accurate acquisition and quality control of logging data.
• Support pre-job planning, tool preparation, and post-job reporting.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Collaborate with drilling, geology, petrophysics, and reservoir teams.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and operational procedures.
• Participate in equipment maintenance, testing, and calibration activities.
• Prepare detailed operational and technical reports.
• Lead and supervise wireline crews during field operations (Crew Chief).
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, and logistics for wireline jobs (Crew Chief).
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and crew members (Crew Chief).

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Geoscience, Physics, or a related discipline (Wireline Field Engineer).
• Minimum of 5 years of wireline experience (Wireline Field Engineer).
• Minimum of 8 years of wireline experience (Wireline Crew Chief).
• Strong/Extensive experience in Open Hole Logging, Quad Combo Services, Formation Pressure Testing, and Fluid Sampling.
• Proven experience leading wireline field crews (Wireline Crew Chief).
• Ability to work independently in remote and challenging operating environments.
• Strong understanding of wireline data acquisition and quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities (Wireline Crew Chief).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Strong HSE awareness and commitment.
