Technician HVAC

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to join their team in Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah. This role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal property temperature and efficient energy usage. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control property temperature, and analyze energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and address service needs professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and recommend improvements for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, and move in confined or elevated spaces.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs, ramps, and ladders.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.

Required Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• HVAC Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.
