Pellet Operator

About the Role

Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a Pellet Operator to join their team in Al Jumum. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience, focused on ensuring efficient and safe pellet mill production.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to operate and monitor the pellet mill production process effectively and safely. The operator is responsible for achieving production targets and maintaining product quality standards while minimizing operational downtime and material waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pellet machines and related equipment according to approved operating procedures.
• Monitor production parameters, including temperature, steam, moisture, and pellet quality.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain required pellet quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor steam pressure, temperature, amperage, and machine performance during operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any abnormal conditions or breakdowns immediately.
• Ensure raw materials are fed correctly and production flow is maintained.
• Record production data, machine readings, downtime, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and food/feed safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and surrounding work areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to operate and monitor pellet mill machines.
• Understanding of production parameters and quality standards.

Work Environment

The Pellet Operator will work in a manufacturing/feed mill environment. This role requires shift work, continuous monitoring of equipment, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
