As a key player in our procurement activities for assigned vessels and divisions, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and delivery of quality goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle fleet requisitions, RFQs, process POs, and monitor deliveries.
- Identify, evaluate, and approve suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effective service.
- Analyze quotations for compliance and prepare comparisons with recommendations.
- Conduct overseas purchasing and oversee logistics movements and customs clearance.
- Assist in developing new suppliers to save costs while improving quality.
- Maintain supplier prequalification lists and manage supplier accounts.
- Regularly analyze vendor performance data.
- Establish strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Assist finance in resolving discrepancies related to invoices.
- Review Open Requisitions and POs to ensure alignment with departmental KPIs.
