About the Role

United SAAM Contracting is seeking a qualified Architectural Engineer to join their team in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals, with a preference for residents of Buqayq. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in the contracting and construction projects field.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of architectural works and monitor project progress on-site.
• Review architectural plans to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
• Monitor contractors' work to ensure quality of execution aligns with approved plans.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical engineers, consultants, and project teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports, including daily and weekly progress reports.
• Oversee finishing works and ensure their execution meets required standards and specifications.
• Monitor quality, address technical observations, and ensure works are executed as required.
• Quantify materials and review executed works and payment certificates when necessary.
• Address architectural issues and challenges on-site, proposing appropriate solutions.
• Monitor the project schedule and ensure architectural works are completed within the defined plan.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of practical experience in contracting and construction projects.
• Proficiency in design and engineering drawing software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.
• Ability to work at project sites and perform effectively under pressure.
