About the Role

ASMO, a joint venture between DHL and Aramco, is focused on transforming procurement and supply chain services within Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. This full-time Inventory Supervisor position is critical for managing inventory at the ASMO Central Pipe Yard (CPY) in Abqaiq. The role ensures the efficient and accurate handling of OCTG, line pipes, drilling materials, and oilfield tubular products, supporting safe and effective yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily inventory operations, ensuring smooth material handling within the pipe yard.
  • Oversee accurate receiving, storage, issuing, and tracking of pipes and associated materials.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
  • Maintain proper material identification, tagging, traceability, and documentation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and oil & gas operational procedures.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and manage WMS/ERP inventory transactions and reporting.
  • Optimize yard utilization and enhance material flow efficiency.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of forklift operators, drivers, and other inventory personnel.
  • Manage inventory levels and implement robust stock control processes.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and efficiency in all inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Train and mentor inventory staff on procedures and skill development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to accurately predict and manage inventory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for inventory management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory trends and performance data.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English communication.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar inventory supervision role or within Supply Chain functions.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations is required.
  • Experience with Inventory Forecasting & Planning is preferred.
