About Us:

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee and monitor day-to-day accounting activities across PIPECARE and its subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports summarizing the company's performance, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Cost Accounting: Maintain the cost accounting system, analyze production costs, and prepare cost-saving reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts by collaborating with various departments.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct periodic counts, and ensure accurate valuation.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles and legal regulations, staying updated on changes in accounting standards.
  • Audit Liaison: Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation for audits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights to management and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

Requirements:
  • BS degree in Accounting, CPA, or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, or Contracting sectors.
  • Familiarity with payments, collections, and invoicing control.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask.
  • Willingness to wear safety equipment as required.
