Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection within an oil and gas environment.
• Certified welding inspector is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work shifts.
• Knowledge of ASME and API standards is advantageous.

Are you passionate about engineering and quality assurance? At Baker Hughes, a leader in energy technology, we are looking for a Quality Inspector to provide high-quality engineering across our projects. As part of our dynamic mechanical engineering team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the standards of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage production inspection plans and ensure the progress aligns with product manufacturing.
• Handle Non-conformities (NCR), create NCRs for non-conforming products, and ensure proper quality closure.
• Verify that all manufactured equipment meets specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare Assembly Test Reports and certificates of conformance.
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and reject non-compliant items.
• Approve in-process production and final inspections based on required specifications.

Qualifications:

• A technical diploma degree.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Control Inspection.
• Experience in mechanical inspection is required.
• Strong communication skills.

Desired Traits:

• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and manufacturing quality standards.
• Familiarity with ARAMCO standards.
• Ability to understand P&ID and piping isometric drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
