Join AL ITTEFAQ STEEL PRODUCTS CO. as a Heavy Duty Driver and be a key contributor to our transportation team in Dammam. This role demands a responsible driver with a commitment to safety and efficiency. Major Responsibilities:
- Perform daily truck checks before and after operations.
- Load goods as assigned by dispatcher or foreman.
- Report any truck abnormalities to dispatcher or foreman and send to workshop for repairs.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted on schedule.
- Check that tools and materials are always available with the truck.
- Secure and protect loads before leaving the area.
- Ensure the truck is locked and in a safe area after duty.
- Observe proper road courtesy as per government rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and follow organizational HS&E policies.
- Follow safety instructions related to duties.
- Report damaged PPE or unsafe equipment promptly.
- Maintain PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- Avoid horseplay and abuse of safety devices.
- Report any accidents or hazardous conditions immediately.
- Attend planned safety trainings.
- Exercise the right to say "NO" to unsafe work situations.
