Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is a critical part of the Accounting Team and will support all aspects of the accounting and controls function.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review current systems, assess risks and controls related to processes, and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Handle accounting, compliance, and audit of smaller legal entities independently.
  • Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with the Legal team and Ministry on compliance with local laws.
  • Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Jeddah. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating physical verification of assets and reconciling with asset registers.
  • Preparing fixed asset reports for stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and approving investment applications and ensuring compliance with capex policy.
  • Supporting the implementation of fixed asset accounting systems.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 24 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accrual Accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
