Niceone is offering an excellent opportunity to join our fast-paced logistics operation as a Forklift Driver. We are seeking a safety-conscious and dependable individual who enjoys hands-on work and strives for efficiency in warehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE) in a safe, responsible manner, following all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move goods and pallets throughout the warehouse to designated areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the organization and tracking of inventory, reporting discrepancies and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Inspection and Reporting: Carry out daily equipment checks, document maintenance needs, and promptly report any issues to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with warehouse staff and supervisors to achieve operational targets and maintain a safe working environment.
- Compliance: Follow all workplace guidelines related to loading, stacking, and material storage to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Skills and Requirements:
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is required; additional MHE licenses are considered an asset.
- Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts or related warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to workplace safety and a proven record of safe equipment handling.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items, and perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods.
- Organization: Attention to detail and the ability to keep work areas and inventory organized.
- Communication Skills: Positive, clear communication abilities to interact with team members and supervisors.
