Job Summary:
Join 77 Media Services Company as a Senior Accountant and play a vital role in managing and maintaining financial records. You will prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, consolidating financial information from various subsidiaries while supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic planning.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • General Ledger and Accounting:
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
    • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
    • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Intercompany Transactions:
    • Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
    • Ensure proper allocation of shared expenses and revenues among subsidiaries.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and file tax returns for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
    • Liaise with tax advisors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Financial Systems and Processes:
    • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
    • Enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Utilize accounting software and tools effectively.
  • Support and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Provide support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
    • Assist in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: 35 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a holding company or corporate environment. Experience with consolidation of financial statements and intercompany accounting.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) – required for professional communication. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (*, QuickBooks, ZohoBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
