Join Our Team as a Senior Registrar - PsychiatryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Registrar - Psychiatry to provide high-quality psychiatric care to our patients through innovative remote telehealth services and physical clinics. In this role, you will play a critical part in assessing, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, provide comprehensive assessments, and administer appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Treatment Planning and Medication Management: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with patients on their treatment goals.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Provide education on mental health, deliver therapy sessions, and empower patients to be active participants in their care.
- Clinical Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely documentation of all patient interactions.
- Mental Health Awareness and Education: Participate in health initiatives and contribute to improving telehealth services.
- Clinical Mentorship and Education: Engage in professional development and collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings for quality patient care.
Qualifications:- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Psychiatry.
- Valid SCFHS license.
- Proficiency in telehealth and digital health technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable experience in medical education and mentoring.
