Job responsibilities of the barista:

  • Preparing beverages:
  • Preparing coffee and hot and cold drinks of high quality using accurate recipes.
  • Operating equipment:
  • Operating and maintaining coffee machines and other tools used in beverage preparation.
  • Customer service:
  • Receiving orders from customers and presenting them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handling cash:
  • Managing payment operations using cash or credit cards, and issuing invoices accurately.
  • Maintenance and cleanliness:
  • Keeping the equipment and work area clean to ensure the provision of healthy and appealing products.
  • Inventory management:
  • Monitoring the availability of essential ingredients, such as coffee and milk, and informing supervisors of any shortages.
  • Team collaboration:
  • Working harmoniously with colleagues to ensure seamless and efficient service.
  • Working under pressure:
  • Handling peak times efficiently while maintaining the quality of service and products.
  • Professional development:
  • Improving coffee preparation skills and knowledge of the latest beverage trends to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 23 years in a similar role, preferably in an international luxury hotel chain.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is preferred.
  • A collaborative and flexible attitude in a dynamic environment.
